(Photo: MAN's trucks, made in Brazil)
Frankfurt,Germany -The Financial Times, by By Chris Bryant -February 14, 2012: -- MAN, the German truckmaker, said on Tuesday that it expected sales and operating profits to dip this year, as Brazilian sales are hit by tighter emissions standards and the European commercial vehicle market stagnates... As a result, MAN’s overall operating margin is expected to slip from 9 per cent to about 8.5 per cent of sales in 2012. Daimler, MAN’s rival, also cautioned last week of an impending commercial vehicle slowdown in Brazil...
