Paris,France -Dow Jones Newswires/Fox Business, by Inti Landauro -October 03, 2011: -- French car maker Renault SA's share of France's car and light truck market reached 30% in September as demand for its vehicles jumped while the overall market fell, Renault said in a statement Monday... Including cars and light trucks, Renault sold 60,674 vehicles in September, and its market share rose from 27.9% in the same month last year, the company said. Renault's car sales rose 8.7% in September, while its light truck sales fell 6.5%... Car registrations in France were boosted in the early months of the year by a flurry of orders in late 2010 as buyers rushed to take advantage of an incentive before it was phased out at year-end. As French car makers had expected, the market then lost steam in the second and third quarters... Renault's sales were also hit by supply problems at the beginning of 2011...
