Townville,QLD,Australia -Road Freight News -25 January 2010: -- The Townville Port Access Road project has been completed and it is expected that to take more than 500 trucks a day off local roads... The 2.5km Stuart Bypass was a jointly funded project between Federal Infrastructure and Transport Minister, Anthony Albanese, and Main Roads, Minister Craig Wallace... According to Wallace, by removing heavy vehicles off local roads it will also reduce congestion and improve air quality in residential areas...
