North American sales for the month fell 1,755 units from 2,443 units a year ago, the company said in a statement...The majority of the truck operations noted an increase of deliveries in October from September, and for the Volvo Group in total the increase was 12% from the previous month, the company said... Total truck unit sales worldwide fell 41% to 13,050 units from a year ago, led by a 70% decline inthe Middle Eastand a 71% drop inEastern Europe... The Volvo Trucksbrand fell 50% worldwide and 39% inNorth America, whileMack Trucks sales fell 24% overall and just 10% inNorth America...
