Truckers Appreciation Week * USA - Truck drivers get some gratitude
St. George,UT,USA -The Spectrum, by SCOTT KERBS -November 6, 2009: -- Although many truck drivers have seen their paychecks shrink as a result of the recession, local volunteers expressed gratitude Thursday for the industry's workers in honor of Truck Driver Appreciation Week... Coordinated by the Southern Utah Trucking Association, approximately 45 volunteers distributed snacks and drinks to truck drivers at the Utah Port of Entry Thursday, offering small symbols of gratitude for an often under-appreciated group of workers, said Terry Smith of the Utah Trucking Association...
