Conflicting Road Signs * Vietnam - Trouble truck drivers
Mekong Delta,Vietnam -Vietnam News -29 Aug 2009: -- Frustrated truck drivers claimed they have been unfairly penalised due to conflicting traffic signs on bridges which designate load capacity limits in 13 provinces and cities in the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta region... A Can Tho City truck driver said that he drives his truck backwards across Bridge No1 on Highway 91B when he transports goods to a nearby supermarket because the signs on each side of the bridge are at odds. One allows trucks with 30 tonne loads to cross, while the other limits loads to 15 tonnes... (Image from s3.images.com)
