Nappanee Mayor Larry Thompson said the problem with the ongoing “economic tornado” was that nobody could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now the truck of the future could be the light everyone has been trying to find... Most state and local leaders are backing Camarillo, Calif. based Electronic Motors Corporation’s (EMC) plan to build light and medium weight electric trucks and RVs in Elkhart County, but it’s not a done deal — EMC and Gulf Stream Coach are still waiting for money from the federal government...
