* Finland - 13 May: Container Finance Ltd. Oy announced the pending acquisition of the remaining 65.0% of Containerships Ltd Oy. Based in Helsinki, Containerships provides door-to-door transport of containerized cargo in the Baltic Sea area and northern Europe. Terms were not disclosed.
* Greece - 13 May: Anek Lines SA announced the pending acquisition of 33.4% of Hellenic Seaways S.A. for $170.3 million. Based in Piraeus, Greece, Hellenic provides passenger and vehicle ferry service in the Greek Isles.
* France - 15 May: Olano Logistique du Froid announced the acquisition of STLL. STLL provides transportation services in the Bretagne Region of France. Terms were not disclosed.
Financial Buyers
* France - 12 May: IXIS AEW Europe announced the pending acquisition of seven distribution warehouses, totaling ~2.5 million sq. ft., located in the Netherlands and Germany for $163.0 million.
