Infrastructure investment must remain a priority, notwithstanding Ireland's economic circumstances
Dublin,Ireland -HGV -13 May 2009: -- That's the view of employer's group IBEC, which hosted a conference on sustainable transport in Ireland last week... Addressing the conference, IBEC President, Tom Noonan, said poor transport links and congestion remain a major problem for business. According to recent IBEC research, 54 per cent of companies say that congestion is negatively affecting their profitability... "Ireland will not fully reap the rewards of an eventual global economic upturn if our transport links remain inadequate.
