Truck Driver Protest * Canada - Planned For Monday Rush Hour
Toronto,ONT,Canada - CityNews.ca -March 1, 2009: -- Truck drivers are taking their rigs to Queen's Park Monday in a protest against speed limiters that were made mandatory earlier this year... The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association isn't pleased and some 200 drivers are planning two convoys that will arrive at the Ontario legislature around 11am... The first will start in Cambridge, travelling across the 401 to the 427 and making its way into downtown Toronto along the Gardiner Expressway. The other begins at the 401 in Bowmanville, travels south along the DVP and will take Richmond Street into the core... Labels: truckers' protests
