Australia -eTruck, by Tim Giles -2 Oct 2008: -- One of the more unusual displays at the recent Hanover truck show was the new Modular Truck Interior System or MOTIS for short (See picture at the left)... The high-tech cab interior layout has been designed to fit into the interior of a range of European trucks... MOTIS is a consortium of German companies offering this alternative long haul cabayout to truck manufacturers and, it is thought that both MAN and Mercedes-Benz will be offering the new interior as an option sometime soon...
The MOTIS lay out takes a new look at cabin interior design taking its cues from the caravan and boat manufacturing industry and including a vast array of neatly packaged as accessories.
