Strategic Buyers - International Deals
* UK - 19 Sept: Stva UK Ltd. has acquired the UK auto transport assets and contracts of Automove Ltd. Terms were not disclosed.
* China - 19 Sept: Jiangsu Wujiang China Eastern Silk Market Co., Ltd. announced the pending acquisition of certain assets of Jiangsu Shengze Logistic Co. Ltd. for $10.4 million. Based in China, Jiangsu Shengze's assets include a freight center, processing warehouse and storage facility.
* Kuwait - 20 Sept: Global Logistics Services and Warehousing Co. has acquired a majority stake in United Technology for Trading. United provides over the road transportation and warehousing in Saudi Arabia. Terms were not disclosed.
* The Netherlands - 22 Sept: Dusseldorp Groep B.V. has acquired a minority stake in Jager Midwolde. Based in Midwolde, the Netherlands, Jager transports heavy construction machinery and oversized freight. Terms were not disclosed.
* Greece - 24 Sept: Sphinx Investment Corp. announced the pending acquisition of Top Ships Inc. for $625.3 million. Based in Greece, Top Ships provides seaborne transportation services worldwide and had TTM revenue of $252.3 million.
* Malaysia - 25 Sept: Advance Synergy Bhd has acquired approximately 7.8% of Advance Synergy Capital Bhd ("ASC") for $1.5 million. ASC, an investment holding company, provides bus transportation services in Malaysia.
* China - 26 Sept: The Public Warehousing Company announced the pending acquisition of Baisui United Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. for $50.5 million. Based in Shanghai, China, Baisui United provides logistics and warehousing services.
US Domestic Deals
* Houston,TX - 25 Sept: Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. has acquired Republic Distribution Center. Republic is an approximately 300,000 sq. ft. industrial facility near the Port of Houston's two major container terminals. Terms were not disclosed.
* Miami & Inwood, NY - 25 Sept: Brick Mountain Trucking, LLC has acquired All Mighty Services, Inc. All Mighty operates truck delivery fleets within Inwood, NY and John F. Kennedy Airport. Terms were not disclosed.
* Colorado Springs, CO - 27 Sept: Accellos, Inc. has acquired Prophesy Transportation Solutions, Inc. Based in Bloomfield, CT, Prophesy develops trucking software solutions for truckload carriers, brokers and private fleets. Terms were not disclosed.
* Houston, TX - 2 Oct: WCA Waste Corporation has acquired Advantage Waste Service, LLC. Based in Springfield, MO, Advantage provides residential, commercial, industrial and construction waste hauling and recycling services. Terms were not disclosed.
Financial Buyers
* France - 22 Sept: Atria Capital Partenaires has announced the pending acquisition of Groupe ALTEAD, SA for $95.4 million. Based in Saint-Herblain, France, ALTEAD provides logistics and industrial freight transportation services.
* USA - 23 Sept: Equity Based Services, Inc. has acquired the Storage One facility in Las Vegas for $4.9 million. Storage One provides climate and non-climate controlled storage, as well as 112,000 sq. ft. of RV parking.
* USA - 24 Sept: Lowe Enterprises Investors has acquired a 266,396 sq. ft. industrial distribution facility in Los Angeles, CA for $31.5 million.
