One man still hospitalized
Lucedale,MS, USA -The Biloxi Sun Herald, by DONNA HARRIS -Feb. 03, 2008: -- Truck driver Paul Siau received honors for bravery for rendering aid to injured motorists recently, but he's still wondering why... On Dec. 28, Siau arrived at the scene of a wreck on U.S. 98 at the Alabama-Mississippi line moments after it happened... The BWI Companies delivery driver watched the two cars skid to a stop and ran to the accident to check on the passengers... Siau organized volunteers to help as he attended to the occupants of one of the cars - three young men in their early 20s. Two were not breathing, so he started CPR until medical help arrived... One of the men was crushed in the car and Siau promised him he would stay by his side through the ordeal. Rescuers used the Jaws of Life to remove the injured man and he was flown to University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile for treatment, where he remains in intensive care...
