Following the discovery of a faulty shock absorber mounting bracket, Kenworth is recalling over 2000 trucks, to ensure they are safe
Sydney,Australia -Truck Talk.com.au/Australasian TN -9 November 2007: -- ... Kenworth have announced a recall due to a problem with a shock absorber bracket weld. The recall affects models built between December 2006 and September 2007... The lower front shock absorber mounting bracket has been incorrectly manufactured and may fail as a result. If this happens it could potentially foul the steering linkage impeding vehicle control. Anyone affected is advised to contact their nearest Kenworth dealer...
