Anomalous Vehicles * Australia - Light prime movers
The mass rules in the European Union produce some anomalous vehicles unlikely ever to be seen here in AustraliaSydney,Australia -Truck Talk -9 Nov 2007: -- ... One of these is the van-based prime mover pulling a lightweight trailer, the small semi comes in under the limit for some of the stricter operating rules imposed on trucks and allows operators extra operational flexibility... As a result van and light truck manufacturers all supply a prime mover derivative from their range, as seen at the RAI in Amsterdam (PN: see photo, and imagine all...) by Trucktalk... Hauling low mass loads on these ultra light semis looks like it might be a pretty hairy experience on a windy day...
