More than 850 trucks were inspected during a South Australian operation targetting heavy vehicles last weekMelbourne,Australia -ABC Online -Oct 7, 2007: -- ... It was organised by police and the Transport Department and resulted in 48 offences being detected... There were 27 fines issued, and 18 drivers were reported for heavy vehicle offences... One truck was found with a device enabling its number plate to be concealed from speed cameras...
