CONTROLS * USA - 103 of 120 trucks fail inspection in Grays Harbor County
Montesano,Wash,USA -AP/Seattle Post Intelligencer (Seattle,WASH) -September 7, 2007: -- The Grays Harbor sheriff's department and the Washington State Patrol inspected 120 trucks at truck scales this week on Highway 12 and Highway 101... They found some type of defect or violation, such as bad brakes, air lines, cracks in frames or missing bolts on 103 of them... Sheriff's Lieutenant Matt Stowers says they issued 47 notices of infractions and took 27 rigs off the road right there...
