On Thursday night last week, trucks heading for the Imatra frontier station were stopped for the first time already on the four-lane portion of Highway 6 in Joutseno. The aim of the move was to avoid the trucks from blocking the highway in Imatra... The move threatens the economy of Iraq's northern region - one of the country's few success stories - and also appears aimed at driving a wedge between Iraq and the Americans at a time of friction over a deadly shooting in Baghdad involving the security firm Blackwater USA...
