Truck drivers are becoming figure conscious and boosting their alertness by eating more healthily whilst on the job.

London,UK -Oxford Prospect, by nicnewman -August 15, 2007: -- A survey released today from Clearstone HGV driver training and recruitment specialists, shows the stereotypical sedentary driver is quick becoming a thing of the past; and it is highly likely you will see drivers peering over the salad cart rather than tucking into a plate of bangers and mash... Chocolate snacks and energy drinks are a thing of the past, according to the survey results, with over 50 per cent of respondents avoiding sugar-filled energy drinks and 36 per cent of respondents preferring fruit or nuts to other less healthy options... The Government has been very influential over the past 5 years by educating the nation about healthy eating and this is reflected in the driving industry’s changing eating habits...
