When some residents on Phoenix' far northwest side hear quacking, they're aren't hearing ducks -- they're hearing trucks

Well, giant cement supplier CEMEX has outfitted its truck at its Sun City plant with an alarm that sounds like a quacking duck. And it plans to do the same at its other facilities... That was because of complaints from residents about nighttime operations... The Maricopa County Mining District Recommendation Committee is considering proposing that all on-site trucks at river-bottom mining operations replace their back-up alarms with a quieter alternative, such as the quacking alarm...
