The bend after '07 looks clear for trucking after this year

Truckload carriers could report particularly depressed results, as pricing power diminished alongside demand... "The combined effects of a slowing economy, tighter inventory management, and slackening truckload capacity have begun to yield difficult earnings comparisons following several years of ideal operating conditions," said Art Hatfield, an analyst at Morgan Keegan & Co., in a recent note to clients...
