Differences * USA - Michigan gets $1.5 million in trucking dispute with Oklahoma

LANSING,Mich.,USA -WoodTV8 -15 Nov 2006: -- Michigan has received $1.5 million as part of a national settlement with Oklahoma over a dispute involving trucking registrations, Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land said Wednesday... Michigan and 13 others states filed a complaint against Oklahoma because it allowed trucking companies to register there even though they weren't based there -meaning it got money to which it wasn't entitled- Land said... The money will be added to the Michigan Transportation Fund, which pays for road and bridge projects... Oklahoma has changed its registration rules to comply with regulations, Land said...
