"A threat to our security" - Canada - Trucks skipping customs checks
Toronto,ONT,CAN -The Toronto Sun, by TOM GODFREY -21 Oct 2006: -- More than three big rigs a week fail to report for secondary customs checks at the Windsor border before disappearing into Canada, officials say... "This is a threat to our security," said Ron Moran, president of the Customs Excise Union. "These trucks can be hauling anything from people to explosives."... The rigs are suspected of having contraband or improper paperwork when pulled over after entering from the U.S., Moran said yesterday...
