Market - USA - Trucking Pricing Softer, Capacity Looser
NEW YORK,NY,USA -The Chron (Houston,TX)/AP -Oct. 20, 2006: -- Reinforcing initial earnings reports from trucking companies this week, shippers said pricing softened and capacity was much easier to find in the third quarter... And as for the hotly awaited peak season, a majority of shippers said volumes would be flat or down on both the truckload and less-than-truckload side. Even among those shippers who said they would increase volumes in the second half, Seidl expects that the totals are probably falling short of what would be considered peak season...
