BIRMINGHAM, Ala.,USA -WTVM (Columbus,GA)/Associated Press -22 June 2006: -- Tanker trucks rolling through Birmingham are coming under additional scrutiny this week from state troopers and inspectors with the state Department of Transportation... The heightened inspections are part of a campaign to make sure cargo is properly secured and the 18-wheelers pass maintenance checks... Troopers say out of 120 coil-hauling trucks inspected, 50 were put of out of service. No figures were available for tanker trucks...
