Sales - Germany - Army counting on MAN trucks for military
Seattle,WA,USA -Jobwerx -13 Apr 2006: -- The German Armed Forces, Bundeswehr, orders 592 vehicles from MAN´s TGA heavy truck range and 89 MAN LE2000 light range trucks for towing fighter planes at military airfields... The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) have ordered a total of 681 trucks from MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG. 592 vehicles from MAN´s TGA heavy truck range will be used to train drivers, while another 89 MAN LE2000 light range trucks are to serve as tractors to tow fighter planes across military airfields. Deliveries to BwFuhrparkService have already begun. Last year, the British Ministry of Defence also ordered 5,200 MAN trucks and MAN recently received a contract from Denmark for 143 military vehicles...
