WEST BRIDGEWATER,Boston,USA -CBS4 Boston, by Christina Hager -Apr 13, 2006: -- J.P. Noonan transportation's fleet of 300 trucks burns 10-thousand gallons of diesel fuel every day... Now the company is investing in a big way in bio-fuel which is a mix of waste vegetable oil and diesel... "Our fuel costs are so high, 50, 60, 70 percent of our costs besides payroll...by the end of the day you don't make much profit," said Paul Noonan... The vegetable oil comes from area restaurants which pay Noonan to take it away... A gallon of the mix costs Noonan 2-dollars-and-55-cents about a quarter per gallon cheaper than diesel...
