Wellington,New Zealand -Radio New Zealand -20 Mar 2006: -- The Land Transport Safety Authority is telling hundreds of drivers of heavy Ford vehicles to stop driving them immediately, and put them though a safety check... An investigation into a Southland school bus crash two weeks ago has revealed it was caused by a broken steering component, that had been cracked for some time... Spokesman Andy Knackstedt says more than 2,000 vehicles are affected, including buses, trucks and motor homes... He says most will be fine but the bus crash highlights the importance of having the inspection...
