Ban - Pakistan - On import of old buses, trucks sought
Islamabad,Lahore,Pakistan -Daily Times -Mar 21, 2006: -- Manufacturers of trucks and other heavy duty vehicles demanded of the government to impose a ban on the import of old buses and trucks... They claimed that majority of these vehicles were over 16 years old. They also demanded imposition of an ban on illegal conversion of trucks into other heavy duty vehicles... Registration of such vehicles with provincial governments should be stopped immediately, they added...
