That's why trucking companies, including those in Vermont, are having trouble finding long-haul truck drivers... "We were probably worse last year than this year," said Ray Routhier, who's in charge of driver recruitment for Bellavance Trucking... Routhier said the company, which employs 100 drivers, could use six more drivers this year, an improvement over a year ago when the Barre trucking firm was short 12 to 18 drivers.
