LONDON, UK -Reuters -Sep 28, 2005: -- Not saying "sorry" and getting angry after an accident is costing motorists millions of pounds because a lack of contrition prompts some drivers to exaggerate insurance claims, a survey from Norwich Union said on Wednesday... Almost a third (31 percent) of motorists said they would be likely to talk up injuries or vehicle damage if the other party involved in the accident was angry or accusatory whereas 40 percent would be less likely to do so if the other driver was friendly, showed sympathy or said sorry...
