Taxs - USA - Reimbursement Rate For Miles Going Up
WASHINGTON,DF,USA -The WGAL Channel -Sept 12, 2005: -- The high price of gas nationwide is forcing the Internal Revenue Service to increase the reimbursement rate to taxpayers for mileage... The Washington Post reported the IRS is increasing the rate to 48.5 cents a mile for business trips driven between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31. The rate for the first eight months of the year was 40.5 cents... The mileage rate is used by the federal government and many businesses to determine how much workers who use their car can deduct for tax purposes...
