Sales - USA - Mack Trucks' parent says deliveries up 81 percent
August figure reflects demand for vehicles made in Lehigh Valley
Allentown,PA,USA -Allentown Morning Call, by Dan Shope -27 Sept 2005: -- Mack Trucks reported an 81 percent increase in deliveries to 2,930 in August, compared to the same month a year ago... Deliveries at the Allentown company were up about 4 percent from July. But they were below the 3,470 reported in June, a level not seen since the late 1990s... Deliveries in 2005 through August reached 23,675, up 55 percent from the previous year...
