USA - The Car Connection -Sep. 28, 2005: -- President Bush called on Americans yesterday to drive less and conserve fuel to minimize the economic troubles that Hurricanes Katrina and Rita have caused across the country. With oil prices over $65 a barrel and new damage to the Gulf of Mexico's oil production due to the more recent Rita, the President told reporters in a news conference that Americans need to realize that the twin storms have caused a disruption in oil production and refining.
