Protest - UK - Trucks stage 'go slow' rally
LONDON,UK -Gulf Daily News (Bahrein) -17 Sept 2005 :--( A convoy of trucks staged a go-slow protest on a major British highway yesterday over high fuel prices, causing traffic jams as long as five kilometres, police said... Police moved swiftly to prevent major disruption on the M4 highway in Wales, and ordered everyone taking part in the protest to drive at a minimum of (64kmph) in the slow lane... The protesters said they were seeking relief from Britain's high fuel taxes, which currently account for nearly half of the cost of pertol...
