Production - Iran, China: Sign truck manufacturing contract
TEHRAN,Iran -mehrnews -Sept. 23, 2005: -- According to an initial agreement made between Iran Khodro Diesel Co. and China National Heavy-Duty Truck Corporation (CNHTC), the Iranian company has set to import and buy the technology of manufacturing heavy-duty trucks... The Chinese company has also accepted to set up a production line for trucks in Tehran. A marketing official in the Iranian company put the total value of the contract at about $150m. “The trucks we want to buy from CNHTC have acquired several quality standards including Euro2,”... The Chinese company will soon deliver 400 of the heavy-duty trucks to Iran Khodro Diesel...
