Markets - UK - Volkswagen cut at CSFB on recent share performance
LONDON,UK -MarketWatch, by Aude Lagorce -09/23/05 :-/ Credit Suisse First Boston cut German car maker Volkswagen AG to neutral from outperform, saying that although it remains a great supporter of the company's restructuring story and believes progress is being made, it believes the share price is now discounting too much in the short term... The broker told clients that investors seem to be getting ahead of themselves, noting that not long ago the U.S. and China were major problems, European pricing a significant risk and that further cost reductions were "pie in the sky"...
