Johannesburg, South Africa -Business Day -Aug 11 2005: -- THE SA market for commercial vehicles over 3500kg gross vehicle mass (GVM), as reported to the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of SA (Naamsa) during July, has continued to sustain the new benchmark of 2500 monthly sales established during May and June... The July market exhibited some movement in favour of the heavier mass classes. The segment for medium commercial vehicles (MCV) increased by 15,86% on July 2004's results, totalling 1008 units. July sales in the heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) segment increased by a significant 56,1% if compared to the same month last year, to record 515 unit sales. The extra heavy commercial vehicle (EHCV) recorded 846 sales during July, a 28,9% increase on the same month last year. Buses showed impressive growth of 152,7% on July last year, to end the month on 91 units...
