WOMEN TRUCKERS * USA: Life on the road

* Missouri - Female truck driver enjoys ‘life on the road’

-- Forty-year-old Air Force veteran Tonya Eutsey said it's a driver that manages a crew in the City of Ozark’s Public Works Department, holds a Class A Commercial Driver’s License. She said she previously used her license for 10 years to travel the country as a long haul truck driver... Eutsey said the transportation industry was what she chose to pursue for employment after serving 12 years in the Air Force... “When you have a CDL, there’s always a place out there for a driver but it may not be what you want. It was awesome for me to step down and find something I wanted,” she said. “All things aren’t for everybody” ... Eutsey encouraged other women interested in obtaining their CDL and driving trucks to discover their own place in the trucking industry...
