* Michigan - GM recalls 92K trucks, SUVs for ignition lock defect
Detroit,MICH,USA -FOX21 -2 Jan 2015: -- GM announced another recall on Thursday... The New Year’s Day announcement capped GM’s nightmare year, during which the automaker recalled over 30.4 million vehicles... It was a bad year for the industry overall, with one in every five U.S. cars recalled in 2014... Ignition defects are at the heart of the recall, which affected 92,221 trucks and SUVs... GM’s spokesperson Alan Adler said engine power, power steering and power braking could be affected by the defect...
