Little Rock,ARK,USA -The Trucker News -7 Jan 2015: --  Roads and bridges that are deficient, congested or lack desirable safety features cost Arkansas motorists a total of $2 billion statewide annually because of higher vehicle operating costs, traffic crashes and congestion-related delays. Increased investment in transportation improvements at the local, state and federal levels could relieve traffic congestion, improve road and bridge conditions, boost safety, and support long-term economic growth in Arkansas, both conclusions according to a new report released Tuesday by TRIP, a Washington-based national transportation organization. Truckers are very familiar with Arkansas highways.
