* Ohio - Texting truckers are 23 times more likely to crash than those drivers who don't text and drive

(Video from WKYC-TV: Channel 3 cameras caught a number of truck drivers on Interstate 77 and Interstate 90 near Cleveland texting and talking on their cell phones while traveling at high speeds) 
Cleveland,OH,USA -WKYC-TV, by Tom Meyer -November 5, 2014: -- An investigation found truckers texting and talking on their cellphones while travelling at speeds of at least 70 mph on local highways... Frank Pigeon and other commercial drivers are taking chances since studies found that texting truckers are 23 times more likely to crash than those drivers who don't text and drive... At a truck stop in Lodi, one trucker told The Investigator Tom Meyer that the 2010 federal ban on commercial drivers using cell phones is largely being ignored... Ohio law enforcement personnel issued only 19 tickets last year to truckers in Ohio for violating the federal regulation... A trucking industry expert says a number of companies have no tolerance for distracted driving, and it's cause for immediate dismissal if drivers are caught...
