Canberra, ACT,Australia -ATA Friday Facts -26 July 2013: -- Attorney-General, Mark Dreyfus, QC, yesterday launched a voluntary code of practice to prevent the loss or theft of chemicals for terrorist use through the chemical supply chain... The code focuses on 11 of the highest risk chemicals that can be used to make explosives... “Businesses who handle chemicals can also provide critical information to assist in preventing terrorist attacks,” Mr Dreyfus said, “We all want to make sure that Australia remains a safe and resilient country. Good security is good for business” ... Operators are encouraged to report suspicious behaviour to the National Security Hotline on 1800 123 400...
