* Illinois - Navistar’s first International ProStar with SCR engine rolls off production line
Warrensville,ILL,USA -Fleet Owner -Nov. 16, 2012: -- For International Truck customers waiting for the transition to SCR emissions technology to officially begin, this week marked that milestone. Navistar announced yesterday afternoon that the first Class 8 ProStar+ tractor with Cummins ISX15 engine and Cummins Emission Solutions’ SCR-aftertreatment has rolled off the production line at Escobedo, Mexico this week... The initial ProStar+ with ISX15 engines will be added to Navistar’s test fleet during Navistar’s final validation process. Navistar said it has secured orders for more than 1,000 ProStar+ trucks with the ISX15... Regular production of the vehicle will begin in April, Navistar said...

Irving, ,TXS,USA -AP/Times Leader -Nov. 16, 2012: -- Hostess, the maker of Twinkies and Wonder Bread, is going out of business, closing plants, laying off its 18,500 workers and putting its brands up for sale... The Irving, Texas, company said a nationwide worker strike crippled its ability to make and deliver its products. Its brands also include Ding Dongs, Ho Ho's and Dolly Madison... Hostess had warned employees that it would file a motion in U.S. Bankruptcy Court to unwind its business and sell assets if plant operations didn't return to normal levels by Thursday evening. The privately held company filed for Chapter 11 protection in January, its second trip through bankruptcy court in less than a decade...
