Gothenburg,Sweden -IFW, by David Badger -13 Jan 2012: -- Volvo has unveiled its view of the truck of the future with an artist’s impression of what it calls the Vision 2020... A spokesman for the Swedish truck builder said: “Volvo Trucks’ design tradition is based on respect for functionality, and a desire to improve everyday life are always there in the background." ... Design Director Rikard Orell added: “There is nearly 100 years of technological progress and development between our first truck and the Vision 2020, so direct comparisons are not possible... However, Volvo’s core values have not changed, so you could say that our development is driven by the same vision now as then." ...Labels: future trucks
