* China - Toyota's Nov. China sales down 1.3% on year

Beijing,China -MarketWatch (USA), by By Norihiko Shirouzu -Dec. 1, 2011:  --  China sales at Toyota Motor Corp. and its two local joint venture partners fell 1.3% in November from a year earlier to about 81,800 vehicles, according to a company spokesman in Beijing...  But Toyota officials were quick to say that the Japanese auto maker is still committed to achieving its goal of selling more than 900,000 cars in China this year...  For the first 11 months of this year, Toyota sold about 775,500 vehicles, up 6.7% from a year earlier. The company sold 846,000 cars in China in 2010. December is usually a big sales month for Toyota and other auto makers operating in China...  After rapid growth in 2009 and 2010, China's auto market as a whole has slowed considerably this year as sales of smaller-engine cars and commercial vehicles stalled after the government ended some incentives for car buyers...  This year, overall sales of vehicles, including passenger cars and heavy trucks and buses, are expected to rise about 3%, according to China's main industry group. Last year, the market grew about 30%...


* Dubai / UAE - Commercial vehicle sales on steady rise

Dubai,United Arab Emirates -Trade Arabia -30 Nov 2011: -- The number of commercial vehicles sold in the GCC (11,924 units) over the first three months of the year showed a steady increase of four per cent over the same period in 2010, said a report... The total number of GCC sales for trucks and buses over 4000 kg gross vehicle weight in 2010 stood at 58,025 units, an increase of 50 per cent from 2009 (38,590), according to figures released by global motor trade data specialist Auto Strategies International... However, though the numbers are still well down on 2008, when 116,997 trucks and buses were sold in the GCC, indications are that an industry hit hard by the economic recession in 2009 is again gathering momentum, the report said...


* Japan - Auto Exports +13.2% On Year In October

Tokyo,Japan -Dow Jones -30 Nov 2011:  --  Japan's exports of cars, trucks and buses climbed 13.2% on year in October for the third consecutive monthly gain, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association said Wednesday...  Exports totaled 472,022 vehicles in October, up from 417,030 vehicles in the same month a year earlier, the association said...  The gain indicates that, with parts supplies back to normal, auto makers have boosted their production for export to make up for lost output in the wake of the March 11 disaster...
