* China - Most Popular Pickup Offers Strong Value


Baoding,Hebei,China -Pick Up Trucks (USA),by Mark Williams  -November 10, 2011:  --  The top-selling Chinese pickup truck it’s called the Wingle and it’s produced by Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors...  The Wingle has been the number one selling pickup truck in China for a couple years and looks to have a very strong 2011 as well. Great Wall Motors reported sales volumes of 10,165 trucks for September, bringing the total for the first nine months of 2011 to 90,982 units...  The midsize trucks are equipped with a high-pressure common rail turbocharged diesel engine made in Germany...  Depending on packaging, pricing for the Wingle, as you might expect, is quite low, making it the least expensive “ute” (as they call the compact/midsize pickups Down Under) in Australia, starting near $21,000 (which is less than $22,000 in U.S. monies)...

Mumbai,India -NBM Media, by P.P.Basistha -November 2011: -- The Tipper Trucks manufacturers in India are lining up new product launches which will be higher on productivity as well as economical to operate. finds out the details...  According to industry figure, after last recession, from 16T to 31T GVW truck and tipper registered growth of 26% and 37% YOY respectively in F10 and F11. 16T and 25T truck and tipper grew at 20% and 17% during the same period and tippers had large share of growth averaging above 35%. Growth rate is likely to be lower in F12 on the backdrop of increasing interest rates and impact on overall economic activity that is reflected in downwards revision of GDP estimates.
