TRUCKS PURCHASE PROSPECT * UK - British Gas prepares for fleet improvement

London,EN,UK -Road Transport, by David Harris -23 February 2011: -- Large potential customers touring the halls at this year's CV Show include British Gas, which now operates a fleet of 10,700 vehicles...  Fleet general manager Colin Marriott says he and other key executives always attend the show to see what new products and services are available...  The fleet is not only bigger, it also includes more types of vehicles. As well as operating everything from small vans to 38-tonners, British Gas has recently started useing 125cc motorcycles to support engineers on jobs who need a part that is not in their van...  The CV Show is at Birmingham NEC from 12-14 April...
