ENGINE MAKERS * China / USA - Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine engine for the heavy duty trucking industry in China
Deland,FL,USA -MarketWatch -Apr 30, 2010: -- Following a year of evaluating TTE's patented Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine engine, Aerospace Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Company Co., Ltd., a strategic ally of TTE, reached the conclusion that they believe the DCGT to be a viable solution to the economic and emissions problems facing the global trucking industry. At their recommendation and request, Turbine Truck Engines and Beijing Royal Aerospace Facilities Co., Ltd. signed a Cooperative Agreement on April 27, 2010 in which ROYAL will coordinate further funding, design, testing, technical evaluation, and other matters regarding building engineered prototype units of the DCGT for the heavy duty trucking industry in China... ROYAL will be the exclusive partner for this application in China and will apply for government funding through an Energy Saving and Lower Emission Project Grant awarded to innovative green technology companies throughout China. With these resources, AMEC and ROYAL would then work jointly to develop 300 to 600 horsepower versions of the DCGT to be used in heavy-duty trucks...
