TRUCKING END * USA - Arrow's trucks auctioned off

The last of Arrow Trucking: Bankruptcy auction pulls in nearly 400 buyers out to pick up bargains on tractors and flatbeds

Tulsa,OK,USA -The Tulsa World, by D.R. STEWART -19 March 2010: -- More than 300 trucks and trailers formerly operated by bankrupt Arrow Trucking Co. drew nearly 400 people and lively bidding at an auction at the Fair Meadows racetrack Thursday... Bidders ranged from family-owned trucking companies in Montana and Iowa to truck dealers, leasing companies and owner-operators from Houston to Ohio. Buyers came for a chance at more than 300 rigs, some newer, some not running... They paid from $5,000 for six-year-old broken-down Freightliners to $41,000 for a 2007 Kenworth sleeper cab with 300,000 miles on it... Forty-eight-foot flatbed trailers drew bids from $6,000 to $17,000...
